Among Houses and the Cosmos, solo exhibition at Centraal Museum. 11.23.2024-02.23.2025. Winner of the Boellaard Prize 2023 The exhibition brings together my diverse artistic practices into a single installation, including a feature-length experimental documentary, drawings, small sculptures, artist books, and multi-channel video installations. Utrecht Lokaal in Centraal Museum is a beautiful space. Through its glass walls, something essential from my work is highlighted: permeability — how boundaries between separate bodies can be blurred. This space was designed by Krijn de Koning. In collaboration with Jap Sam Books, a monograph will be published on the occasion of this exhibition, offering an overview of three decades of my practice. The book is designed by Esther de Vries and contains texts by Temra Pavlović, Ana Sladojević and Lisette Smits. The book presentation will take place in May 2025 at the Centraal Museum.
